Image Color Palette Extractor

Find useful colors in an image and copy their HEX codes.

Live workspace

Choose an image to begin.

Settings

Approximate palette sampled from a reduced image. This is not a professional color-management measurement.

How to use this tool

Choose a photo or graphic to produce a palette. Select a color code to copy it into your design workflow.

Before you download

The resulting palette is an approximation of sampled colors, not a color-management reference.

Example workflow

Use a representative image to find a starting palette for a presentation or website. Copy the HEX values, then compare them in the actual design. A dominant color in a photo is not automatically suitable for text or a button.

Check your result

Check text/background contrast separately. Cropping, lighting and compression can change the colors extracted from a picture. Treat these values as sampled screen colors rather than a certified match for print inks or physical products.
