Task tips
You can paste an image from the clipboard or choose a screenshot file. This tool extracts printed text rather than preserving the original layout. Check code, URLs and small lettering carefully.
A complete workflow
Paste a screenshot into the page or choose its file. Select the matching language and recognize the text. Review punctuation in URLs, code and filenames before copying. Prepare a TXT download only after correcting the editable result.
If the result is wrong
Small interface text can become illegible in a scaled screenshot. Capture the relevant area at its original display scale instead of enlarging a thumbnail. OCR does not infer a safe command from a picture: inspect commands and links before using them.
What the export contains
The export is plain text, not a recreated screenshot or editable design. Clipboard images must be supplied by your browser; if paste is unavailable, save the screenshot as PNG and use Choose image. Recognition downloads OCR and language files on demand.
