Image table to CSV
Recognize a simple printed table, review editable rows and columns, then download CSV for Excel.
Task tips
Best for simple, evenly aligned tables. Column gaps are estimated from recognized word positions. Use tabs between cells and a new line for each row. Merged cells, border-heavy tables and complex layouts need manual correction. The output is CSV that Excel can open, not an XLSX workbook.
A complete workflow
Crop to one simple table and recognize it in the matching language. In the editable result, use one tab between cells and one new line between rows. Compare the number of columns in every row before preparing CSV.
If the result is wrong
A wide gap can become an extra column; a narrow gap can merge two cells. Correct those boundaries manually. Merged cells, multi-line cells and complex ruled tables may need rebuilding in a spreadsheet. Check leading zeros and decimal separators after import.
What the export contains
CSV stores the reviewed cell text, not Excel formulas, formatting or multiple sheets. This tool does not export XLSX. The OCR language files download at first use; the estimated table structure still needs human review even when the words look correct.
Review OCR Before Exporting Text or CSV
A practical review of printed text, receipt totals and table columns before you use a local OCR export.
